My Reflection


In this activity we were allowed to chose a partner to work with and one of us would pretend to be a character from one of the books Once,Then and after and interview them I found this activity hard because I couldn't think of good questions.

In this activity we had to draw a diagram of a balloon rocket and explain what forces are working with the balloon and explain what is happening in the diagram I found this activity hard because I didn't know much about forces and motion.

In this activity we had to go around the class room and estimate how long,tall and wide objects were than measure them I found this activity fun and hard the fun bit was because you got to go around and measure everything and create your own the hard bit was because it was hard finding the right object.

In this activity we had to make connections to the book Once and make 6 to 8 question about World War 2 I found it hard because I couldn't think of many questions and it took me a long time to find the answers.

Onomatopoeia + Alliteration

My Reflection In this activity we had to learn how to use onomatopoeia and alliteration onomatopoeia is words like bang crash and pew like words from comics alliteration is a bunch of words starting with the same letter in a sentence I found Onomatopoeia easy because I read a lot of comics especially superhero comics I found alliteration hard because I could´t think of many sentences that made sense and started with the same letter.

In this activity we had three groups each group had to make a prediction about how far each balloon went one group had no water one group had half water and half air and the other had just water each group had to predict how far their balloon was going to go the balloon with just air went all the way to the end and the balloon with the most water went nowhere and the balloon with half water and half air went far but it also got stuck because of the water.

In this activity we had to use our knowledge about our timetables and division  to find a fraction of a whole.

My Reflection
In this activity we had to remember some of the things about the book 88 Lime street and write in some of the themes in 88 Lime street and then write How do you know that they are some of the main themes and you had to provide examples then you had to write a paragraph saying what is the main idea why you think it's the main idea and evidence that supports your opinions.

88 Lime Street Novel Readers Response

In this activity we had to write a readers response to Denise Kirby's Novel 88 Lime Street. On the first page for our response we had to write the title of the book. On the second page we had to write our Walt.On the third page we had to write a personal experience about what happend to us that also happend to someone in the book. On the fourth page we had to write if we liked the book or  not and why.On the fifth page we had to write what movies or cartoons reminded us about the book.On the sixth page we had to research about a famous house and write it down to show people about the house we researched about.

My Reflection

In this activity we had to chose a topic about anything then after we chose a topic you started on a speech first you did an intro you can do any intro or you could do a intro related to your topic than you had your first point your second point and your third point that is full of facts then you had your conclusion which is your final chance to get people interested in your topic.

Kite Maori games

In this activity we had to chose buddy's to chose a traditional Maori game and research about the game we chose and then create a slideshow about it and write the equipment we needed the rules and the history and then we got to play them with a class.

 I was learning to solve bigger fractions and how many groups there were and what fraction I was using.

In this activity we had to use blue tack to stick our numbers and symbols to the white board with our numbers and symbols we had to stick them onto the board and make a stop motion subtraction equation using pvp also know as place value partitioning
